Job title: Professional Housekeeper

Location: Spearfish and Surrounding Areas

Role Type: Part time to start, with the goal of full time within 6 months 

Start Date: End of May 2023

Pay: $15/hour for training, $20/hour once training is completed (performance based promotions are available)

About Fresh Daisy Cleaning: I have a big heart for serving people in unique ways and making it attainable for anyone. My educational background is in psychology, who knew I’d rather serve people by scrubbing toilets, ha! The feeling you get coming home from a long day/week/month…to a CLEAN home, is hard to put words to. The senses that it satisfies, smell, touch, sight, you could taste the counter if you must and I can’t promise quiet, because my house doesn’t exist in quiet. But that feeling of a clean home takes something off your chest that many can’t provide. And knowing that we will be back to do it again, and soon, is even better. That is why I do what I do and love what I do.

Job Description: This position is for someone who enjoys details, always learning and can stick their headphones in and clean, clean, clean. You will ideally be in about 4 to 5 houses a week to start. You will be in charge of the locations above. You will likely work alone, except for days that you’re training or longer days with stacked houses. A day in the life of a housekeeper is ensuring that your equipment and supplies are always ready each day you clean. You will show up to the home you’re cleaning, walk through the home, create a plan and then execute. Most times, we leave behind a note or small gift to show our clients our appreciation. After each cleaning, you’ll fill out a form summarizing what was accomplished and then you either move to the next job, or head home, leaving work, at work! 

Requirements: First and foremost, I am looking for someone who will always show up when expected, has a consistently good attitude and has a heart for serving others in unique ways. Ideally, you have experience in housekeeping or service industry. Cleaning professionally takes a special eye and you know if you have it or not. You must be willing to be flexible and give plenty of time if you’re going on vacation and need someone to fill in. Good communication is a must, you will be my right hand man and with that comes responsibility and lots of potential for growth. We rarely lose clients and that is due to our major expectation of consistency in what we clean, how we clean and how we always show up when we are expected. I do my best to move clients as little as possible. I will not hire someone who is unsure about the position or has a flakey background. 

You must be able to pass a background check and pass 3 professional reference checks. You also must have your own vehicle (fuel outside of a specific range will be reimbursed).
